Ink Still Wet
2024
«I think it's a really great competition because the budding and learning composers are incredibly well supported. (...) The scores are discussed in advance, before the work phase even starts. Clearly the most exciting thing about the whole thing is that the composers will conduct their works themselves with the orchestra, something I haven't experienced anywhere else. It's really unique here. (...) We can figure things out together. So maybe trying things out is almost more important than the fact that masterpieces are created.»

Ink Still Wet 2024«The concept of the workshop makes me very curious: on the one hand, I am hoping for inspiring discussions about which types of composition and, furthermore, notation are particularly practicable for an orchestral piece. (...) But what particularly intrigues me about Ink Wet is the fact that the workshop takes place over a longer period of time, which makes so many things possible that often have to be neglected in other master classes and competitions under time pressure: trying things out, experimenting, reflecting and discussing one's own ideas with others.»
